Louisiana's largest university system have frozen equipment and supply purchases, reduced travel and cut back on overtime to adjust for a $33 million in expected budget cuts this year.
Here's how they plan to make the cuts: Grambling, $2.3 million; Louisiana Tech, $4.5 million; McNeese, $3.2 million; Nicholls, $2.5 million; Northwestern, $3.6 million; Southeastern, $5.8 million; UL-Lafayette, $7.3 million; UL-Monroe, $4 million.
