The Advocate reports the 8th Judicial District Attorney, 39-year-old Richard Christopher Nevils, was issued a summons for first-offense DWI, hit and run and failure to maintain control Wednesday in Baton Rouge.
A police spokesperson told the media outlet that Nevils failed a field sobriety test and submitted to a breath alcohol test, which resulted in a blood-alcohol content of 0.173 percent, which is more than twice the legal limit of 0.08 percent
