Miss Louisiana 2008 Blair Abene, also Miss Lincoln Parish, is crowned by Miss Louisiana 2007 Amanda Joseph. Abene is a Hammond native.
As The Monroe News Star reports, the Miss Louisiana Pageant will be televised from the Monroe Civic Center's W.L. "Jack" Howard Theatre and available via webcast from MissLouisiana.org each night of competition June 18–20.
