New Orleans ACORN spokeswoman calls decision to strip funding a 'smear campaign'


WWL: The New Orleans chapter of ACORN is reacting for the first time to secretly recorded video that could strip them of well over a million dollars in federal housing funding.
La. Republicans join effort to deny funds to advocacy group (Gannett): Sen. David Vitter and Rep. Charles Boustany were among the Republicans this week calling for the government to cut off federal funding to ACORN.


In the latest video released, an undercover investigation team of Anthony Dini and Hannah Giles report on apparent corruption, murder and the promotion of underage child prostitution at ACORN in San Bernadino, Calif. Other exclusive videos are available at BigGovernment.com.
