CMT: The bus was headed to Bossier City, for Adkins' Saturday night concert with Martina McBride and Sarah Buxton at the CenturyTel Center.
TMZ: Adkins was not on board the bus at the time.
E! Online: "This is a real tragedy," Adkins said in a statement.
