Update: Lafayette Police Dept. rules against officer

The Advocate: The Lafayette Police Department has ruled that an officer violated two departmental policies in his handling of a girl police had detained during Mardi Gras festivities earlier this year.
Previous post: The department had placed the officer on paid administrative leave after a video surfaced that showed him raising his voice and shaking a girl who was being detained. The footage, taken with an iPhone, reportedly was taken Feb. 16, Mardi Gras day, in the downtown Lafayette area, and uploaded to CNN's iReport.
