ACLU urges council to repeal ordinance regulating Halloween

WAFB: The ACLU of Louisiana said the efforts of a parish government to change the date and regulate times for Halloween violate the Constitution. The organization sent a letter to the members of the Livingston Parish Council, urging them to repeal an ordinance that changes the official date of Halloween when Oct. 31 falls on a Sunday, as it does this year.
