It looks like the Alexandria Town Talk has a beef with a blogger. Only identified as "a staunch Democrat who works for Alexandria Mayor Jacques M. Roy," the blogger took note of how the newspaper didn't win any Louisiana Press Association awards this year.
The newspaper fired back with a column in response.
While it may be true that the staff didn't garner any awards this year, the columnist points out that a "business decision" was made not to enter the contest.
The column apparently is an answer to a CenLamar blog post.
